Farmington Hills, MI – Judson Center is inviting the community to join them for a night of food, fun and entertainment for a great cause. The human service agency’s annual “A Night to Embrace” fundraising gala is returning to an in-person gathering after going virtual the past two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This year’s event takes place on Friday, November 11 from 6:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. at The Henry, 300 Town Center Drive, in Dearborn. The presenting sponsor is Huntington Bank and David Provost, CEO of Talmer Partners, is serving as Gala Chair. Retired FOX 2 Detroit News Anchor Huel Perkins is the Master of Ceremonies.

Money raised from the gala supports Judson Center’s mission of building brighter futures for children, youth and families impacted by autism, abuse and neglect, disabilities, and developmental, behavioral and primary health challenges. The funds will also benefit the agency’s foster care, adoption and mentoring services offered with its affiliate, Child Safe Michigan.

“The gala is our signature event, and we look forward to welcoming our generous supporters back in-person for an exciting evening,” said Judson Center President & CEO Lenora Hardy-Foster. “The money raised that night is critical to our mission and our impact in the community. Our services are life-changing, and it fills my heart with joy to see that we are making a difference in thousands of lives by creating stronger, healthier children and families.”

A Night to Embrace will feature a program highlighting Judson Center’s services and a presentation from an autism family served by the agency. The evening includes a gourmet dinner, cocktails, a live and silent auction, entertainment, dancing, and more. Attire is black tie optional and valet service is complimentary. The gala’s planning committee co-chairs are Judson Center Board members: CIA Insurance and Risk Management Vice President Janelle Morck of Shelby Township and Troy Community Foundation Executive Director
Olivia McLaughlin of Troy.
