We provide services to youth and adults with disabilities. Those served/supported have included persons with intellectual/developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, mental health conditions, visual and hearing impairments, and physical mobility limitations. We work collaboratively with community mental health networks and providers in Oakland and Wayne counties, Michigan Rehabilitation Services, Bureau of Services for Blind Persons, and school systems.
Absolutely! Depending on the types of support needed, once a referral is secured our team is equipped to help any client meet their job or community involvement goals. Have questions about whether our program is right for you or your loved one? We’re here to answer any questions and provide guidance in this process. Contact us today to learn more!
Job Coaches are offered as part of our Supported Employment Program. A Job Coach is a team member who specializes in supporting individuals with disabilities on and off the job. Our Job Coaches provide customized one-on-one training to meet each client's needs for working their specific job. The support of a job coach helps make workers feel comfortable and increases the odds that they will have the accommodations needed to thrive on the job.
Being employed and earning income has the potential to impact the type of benefits you may be receiving from Social Security. It’s important to be aware of this before entering our program. If you or a loved one begins services, our team will discuss this with you to make sure everyone is informed and prepared. That being said, many of our clients receive SSI and maintain meaningful employment in the community!
If you’re looking for support outside of employment and skill-building, you can find Community Living Supports by visiting the Oakland County Community Health Network ACCESS page or the Wayne County Community Health Network ACCESS page.
