Judson Center’s “A Night to Embrace” Gala to Raise Money for its Life-Changing Services
Agency is preparing for 100th anniversary in 2024
Farmington Hills, MI – As Judson Center prepares to mark its 100th anniversary next year, the human services agency is inviting the community to enjoy an exciting night of food, fun and entertainment at its annual “A Night to Embrace” fundraising gala. A highlight of the evening will be the reveal of a Judson Center awareness campaign for 2024 that captures the life-changing work of the agency in a fresh and innovative approach.
This year’s event takes place on Friday, November 3 from 6:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. at The Henry, 300 Town Center Drive in Dearborn. The presenting sponsor is PNC Bank. CBS News Detroit Anchor Sandra Ali is emcee for the evening.
Money raised from the gala supports Judson Center’s mission of building brighter futures for children, youth and families in these areas: autism, mental and behavioral health, primary healthcare, disability services, foster care, adoption, and mentoring.
“The gala takes on even more significance as we look forward to our centennial celebration next year,” said Judson Center President & CEO Lenora Hardy-Foster. “In recognition of this major milestone, we will unveil a new, creative campaign that illustrates our passion and commitment to the work we do in the community and the difference we have made in thousands of lives. Our supporters of this year’s gala will help ensure that we can continue our mission for many more years to come.”
A Night to Embrace will feature a gourmet dinner, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, live and silent auctions, raffles, entertainment by Dal Bouey Productions, and dancing. Attire is black tie optional and valet service is complimentary.
The gala’s planning committee co-chairs are Judson Center Board members: CIA Insurance and Risk Management Managing Director Janelle Morck and Troy Community Foundation Executive Director Olivia McLaughlin.
